Donation invested for reparation of the worn-out playground and landscaping

Gornja Bistra – Within the framework of planned CSR activities, the company Robert Bosch d.o.o. and its employees helped the children’s hospital in Gornja Bistra. Bosch donated funds for the park landscaping and renovation of the pool which will be adapted for outdoor activities of younger children. The Bistra Hospital is a Special Hospital for Chronic Diseases of Children and is located in the Oršić Castle in Gornja Bistra and has 110 children in care.

More than 50 participants, Bosch employees with their families and children spent the day in company of the children in care. The Bosch employees helped in landscaping, mowed grass, dug the earth, painted park benches and helped to make the hundred-year-old garden nurtured and clean. “Given that we particularly demonstrate social and environmental responsibility wherever we do business, our goal today is to help the Special Hospital for Chronic Diseases of Children in Gornja Bistra with landscaping so we would make the time its patients spend outdoors as comfortable as possible“, emphasized Bosch General Manager for the Adria region, Javier González Pareja. The hospital management accepted the assistance with gratitude and pointed out that they highly value the efforts the employees of Robert Bosch d.o.o. took in landscaping of the hospital’s surroundings, thus enabling the children and volunteers to spend time outside the hospital buildings more comfortably. “The hundred-year-old park and the children’s playground have really shined with the help of Robert Bosch d.o.o. employees and their families”, said the hospital director Ivan Željko Weiss, MD, specialist of paediatrics.
